Arizona veterans, service members and their spouses will have a chance to connect directly with employers and state resources at the fifth annual Veterans Hiring Event on Thursday in Phoenix.
The event takes place March 26 at Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza and features on-site job interviews, state job search assistance and potential contingent job offers.
Organizers have structured the day to prioritize the veteran community early, with access reserved for veterans, military members and spouses from 10 a.m. to noon. The event then opens to the general public from noon to 2 p.m.
The hiring event is part of a broader statewide push to connect veterans with employment opportunities and support services. It is supported by Arizona workforce initiatives, including Arizona at Work and the AZ Hires Vets program.
In addition to direct hiring opportunities, attendees can receive guidance navigating state employment systems and accessing benefits tied to veteran status.
The event is free to attend. Organizers encourage participants to register in advance through the state website.
