SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — The Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame will honor 15 distinguished veterans during its annual Induction Ceremony on Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, at the Talking Stick Resort Conference Center in Scottsdale. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., with the event scheduled to run until 2:30 p.m. The Hall of Fame, sponsored and administered by Unified Arizona Veterans, Inc., recognizes veterans who have honorably served their country and continue to contribute to their communities with civic achievements beyond their military service. Arizona Medal of Honor recipients are also honored for their valor.
This year marks the 24th induction since the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame was established in 2001. The program is officially recognized by the Governor of Arizona and supported by the Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services and the Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame Society.
The Class of 2024 inductees are:

- Lincoln J. Ragsdale, Sr., Army Air Corps veteran, Phoenix (posthumous)
- Juan Trinidad Salas-Castillon, Marine Corps veteran, Coolidge
- Tad Curtis Snidecor, Marine Corps veteran, Peoria
- Jane Carol Strain, Army veteran, Sierra Vista

The event will include a luncheon featuring Herb Roasted Frenched Chicken Breast. Vegetarian and other dietary accommodations are available upon request.
Registration Information
Registration is now open and can be completed online at the Unified Arizona Veterans website. Attendees may register using a credit card or by mailing a check and completed registration form. Early Bird registration (until Sept. 30) is $65 per person, and standard registration (Oct. 1–25) is $75 per person. Registration must be completed by 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 25, 2024, and mailed registrations must be postmarked by Oct. 18. No walk-in registrations or lunch purchases will be available on the day of the event.
