Tragedy struck in Surprise last week when a devastating fire destroyed the home of Army Veteran and registered nurse Tiara Noumossie, 34, and her family.
Thankfully, Tiara and her children made it out safely — but the blaze took everything else. Their home, possessions and cherished memories were reduced to ashes in a matter of moments.
“For years, Tiara has dedicated her life to serving others,” said Casey Sherman of Waddell. “As a proud U.S. Army Veteran and hardworking nurse, she’s cared for fellow service members, patients and neighbors in her community. Now, she’s the one who needs care and compassion in return.”
The community has launched a fundraiser to help Tiara and her children rebuild their lives. Donations will go toward housing, clothing, food, school supplies and other essentials as the family works to regain stability after the total loss.
On Tuesday, the campaign had raised $3,000 toward an $18,000 goal on the back of 34 donors.
