Congressman Gallego Secures $41.5 Million to Combat Veteran Homelessness in Arizona

Phoenix, AZ – Congressman Ruben Gallego has announced a significant federal investment of $41.5 million to address veteran homelessness in Arizona. This funding, allocated through the VA’s Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) and Homeless Providers Grant and Per Diem (GPD) programs, will be distributed to key organizations like Nation’s Finest, U.S.VETS, and Community Bridges, Inc. These funds will enhance housing stability and support services for homeless and at-risk veterans throughout the state.

Gallego, a Marine Corps veteran, emphasized, “Our veterans deserve more than just gratitude—they deserve the support and services necessary to ensure they never face homelessness.”
