TEMPE, Ariz. — Global Maternal Wellness (QW-GMW), a 501(c)(3) Veteran Service Organization, is pleased to announce the launch of its Family Readiness Program, supported by a grant from Tempe Diablos Charities. The program offers free workshops at the Tempe Public Library, located at 3500 S. Rural Road, Tempe, AZ 85282. These workshops are open to the public, with priority registration for Tempe residents and military families.
The workshops will be held on Saturdays—Oct. 5, Oct. 19, Nov. 2, and Nov. 16—from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Attendees are invited to join all or select sessions. A light lunch will be provided.
Workshop topics include:
- Family planning
- Women’s and men’s health
- Mental health and wellbeing
“We are excited to offer these workshops as part of our mission to support military families and disadvantaged mothers in our community,” said QW-GMW Events Coordinators. “This program aligns with our commitment to preventing maternal suicide and mortality by providing education and resources.”
The workshops are free of charge, but registration is encouraged. To register, participants can email or call the Global Maternal Wellness team.
