Kansas City, MO — The Kansas City VA Medical Center recently hosted its annual Salute to Women Veterans event, drawing over 100 participants. The event, held at the Honor Annex parking lot, provided a platform to honor and recognize the contributions and sacrifices of women veterans.
The celebration featured various activities, including music provided by a DJ, distribution of flowers, certificates, and lapel pins. Attendees also had the opportunity to explore services offered by the Kansas City VA and its community partners. Food trucks were available to ensure participants enjoyed refreshments throughout the event.
