American Veterans Magazine, a nonprofit publication dedicated to sharing success stories of veterans, announced today that radio host Mike Broomhead has joined its board of directors.
Broomhead, a longtime supporter of veterans, said he is eager to contribute to the organization’s mission.
“I’m just looking forward to telling the stories of veteran-owned businesses and telling some of the great stories of what veterans are accomplishing once they get to the civilian side of the world,” he said.
The Arizona-based broadcaster has been widely recognized for his service to the veteran and first-responder community. His honors include:
- Arizona Veterans Hall of Fame Society 2025 Copper Sword Award
- Arizona Department of Public Safety Awards (including recognition for Southern Arizona service)
- Salt River Police Department Awards Banquet Recognition
- MPRA Grand Canyon Chapter Award
