Veterans invited to VetsGiving 2024 at Phoenix VA Medical Center

Veterans at VetsGiving Phoenix VA event receiving resources and support

Phoenix — Veterans and their families are invited to VetsGiving 2024 at the Phoenix VA Medical Center on Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This annual event at 650 E. Indian School Road provides a valuable opportunity for veterans to connect with resources, meet support organizations, and enjoy giveaways.

Penny Craft from the VA Center for Development and Civic Engagement (CDCE) organized VetsGiving this year. The event brings in partners like Dress for Success and Mary Kay to support veterans’ growth. Dress for Success will provide professional attire for both male and female veterans, helping them feel confident for job interviews and career goals. Mary Kay representatives will also offer skincare products and consultations, giving veterans a chance to explore self-care options.

Opportunities for Veterans at Phoenix VA

VetsGiving at the Phoenix VA helps veterans discover VA programs, services, and benefits that they may not know about. VA staff and volunteers will guide attendees through available services and answer their questions. Veterans who arrive early can also receive gift cards, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis to add a special touch to the day.

For further details, visit the Phoenix VA Medical Center website. Veterans can also check the Veterans Affairs Events page to stay updated on additional support opportunities.
